Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking an experienced HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated team as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your clinical and leadership skills in community rehabilitation, working alongside highly specialist clinicians in various areas, including adult rehabilitation, dysphagia management, and neurological degenerative conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Speech and Language Therapists within the community rehabilitation service.
- Provide clinical leadership, support, and supervision to less experienced staff and students.
- Contribute to rehab and therapy development, service development, quality improvement initiatives, and promoting best practice in speech and language therapy.
We are proactive in research and service development, and staff are encouraged to attend postgraduate courses and RCSLT CENs. Our comprehensive in-service education programme within Therapy Services ensures continuous professional development. We have close links with the local School of Healthcare Professions at the University of Brighton and other universities.
As a Clinical Lead, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and welcoming county-wide joint acute and community SLT service. We are committed to providing high-quality care and have a strong focus on patient-centered care.
