Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Shift: 12 hours days / nights

The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a global food business based in the Wirral area.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for a mix of reactive and planned preventive maintenance work, as well as contributing to continuous improvements and projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Electrical and mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding techniques on automated food manufacturing machinery
  • Awareness of Production OEE's and striving to make improvements to the OEE's
  • Routine maintenance and monitoring of production machinery, ensuring all tasks are carried out and/or recorded in accordance with company policies
  • Participating in projects as required

Requirements include:

  • Apprentice trained or equivalent to level 3 (mechanical or electrical)
  • Working in a multi-skilled capacity
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing background, such as food or FMCG
  • Experience working on continuous improvement projects
