Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role:
Clyde & Co is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for monitoring the team inbox, dealing with incoming supplier requests, and maintaining the request log used by the billing assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the team inbox and deal with incoming supplier requests.
- Perform validity checks on information change requests within the 3E database.
- Assist in maintaining a tracker used by the team to review the status of vendors.
- Liaise with the accounts payable team across the UK to ensure the supplier creation journey remains quick and seamless.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Provide support for audits and assist with any inquiries related to accounts payable.
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure newly acquired vendors are seamlessly created within the database.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Maintain a positive "can-do" attitude at all times.
- First-rate organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads.
- Elite experience, specifically Elite 3E is ideal.
- Understanding of VAT regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
