About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and passionate registered nurses who are eager to develop and work towards one of the following roles:

  • Band District Nurse by completing the District Nurse Qualification.
  • Chronic Condition Case Manager by undertaking disease-specific training to provide evidence-based care to individuals with complex needs.
  • Nurse Practitioners by pursuing a modular approach to acquire the necessary clinical skills.

Main Responsibilities

This is a fixed-term/secondment position for a specified period to meet the needs of the service.

The successful applicant will be required to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clinically effective care within the District Nurse Team.

The West Division of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board delivers District Nursing Services across Anglesey and Gwynedd, working in an integrated manner with partner organizations to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

The ability to travel between patients' homes, both within towns and rural areas, in a timely manner is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
