Flagship Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our commercial and design projects in the water industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple design-based projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong commercial relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership to ensure timely delivery of design-based projects, coordinating technical resources and managing project scope.
- Manage risk and issue registers, ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and framework processes.
- Lead weekly design progress meetings, documenting outputs for client updates and ensuring IMS compliance.
- Develop internal programs for project delivery, reporting on progress to clients and internally.
- Manage key client projects, coordinating technical resources and developing scope requirements.
- Develop price quotes for assigned projects, ensuring delivery within agreed budget and profit parameters.
Requirements:
- Water industry or wider utilities experience preferred.
- APMP/AMP PMQ (Project Management Qualification)/PRINCE 2 or equivalent.
- Contract management of design schemes lump sum and time and expense.
- Possibly a background in design management within construction or project management on design projects, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in civil/structural/mechanical/electrical design environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software is required.
- Microsoft Project/Gantt chart experience (desirable).
