Commodities Risk Team Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Python developer to join our Commodities Risk team in London. As a software engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our proprietary trading platform, which is currently undergoing a green-field re-engineering phase.

The ideal candidate will have excellent Python programming skills, experience working in a full-stack capacity, and knowledge of continuous integration and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes. Prior experience working in the front office of a major financial institution is also essential.

We are looking for a candidate who can commit to 3 days per week onsite in London and does not require visa sponsorship. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team and will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our proprietary trading platform
  • Work closely with traders and the wider market risk function
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our trading platform

Requirements:

  • Excellent Python programming skills
