Senior Commercial Solicitor - Senior Associate
About the Role
- A prominent legal firm with a strong reputation in the South West and beyond.
- A national practice with a collaborative team operating from multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish a new commercial practice group, inheriting existing client work and collaborating with corporate colleagues.
- Provide expert advice on non-contentious commercial matters, including:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, partnership agreements, and outsourcing deals.
- Creating supply contracts, terms and conditions, distribution agreements, and franchise contracts.
- Engaging with a diverse client portfolio, ranging from startups to established corporations.
- Deliver national and international advisory services in conjunction with colleagues from various offices.
- Participate in business development initiatives to expand both new and existing client relationships.
- Collaborate closely with other departments such as competition, employment, tax, and intellectual property.
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
- No client following is necessary for this position.
- Must possess an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to contribute innovative ideas.
- A desire to develop a commercial team as the role evolves.
