Job Details

Job Role
  • Supporting teaching and learning activities in a classroom setting and small intervention groups
  • Developing and implementing Individual Education/Behaviour Plans
  • Working with pupils with an EHCP


Key Responsibilities
  • Providing support for teaching staff in the classroom
  • Assisting with the development of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans
  • Supporting pupils with SEND


Requirements
  • Passion for working with children
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a sense of fun
  • Good understanding of SEND
  • Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative
  • Keen to be involved in all aspects of school life
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with children and parents
  • Excellent English and Maths skills, as well as creativity
  • Understanding of the need for confidentiality and safeguarding
  • Support for the Christian ethos and values of the academy
