Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified STEM Tutor to join our team in Hounslow.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to work as a STEM Tutor in one of our partner Secondary Schools in Hounslow. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and tutoring 11-18-year-old students in small intervention groups and one-to-one sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and tutor students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics subjects
  • Maximize student learning potential by increasing attainment, motivation, and self-esteem
  • Implement strategies to close knowledge gaps and improve student understanding
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success
Requirements
  • First-Class or 2:1 classification in a STEM-related degree subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Excellent A-Levels and GCSE grades
  • Ambitions of qualifying as a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics Teacher in the future
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
