Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our Homecare team as a Governance and Compliance Pharmacist. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the Baxter Quality System (QMS) for the Homecare business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly evaluate and review the Quality System to initiate, maintain, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that the Homecare function is compliant with GPhC, RPS, and framework requirements, as well as Baxter standards and policies.
  • Work closely with Associate Director of Homecare, Principal Pharmacist, Compliance and Governance Manager, and Superintendent Pharmacist to ensure continuous development of risk management policies and processes.
  • Implement appropriate risk identification and management processes throughout all Homecare functions.
  • Develop and manage a Governance Dashboard to track and trend quality system data and indicators.
  • Support operational pharmacy sites as required.

Requirements

  • Qualified Pharmacist and Registered with the GPhC.
  • Recent and extensive experience of working in High/Mid-tech Homecare.
  • Trained and qualified as a Lead Auditor would be advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Process-driven approach.
  • Successful experience in conducting investigations and complaint management.
  • Successful experience in managing risks.
  • Previous experience of managing workload and tasks to tight and competing deadlines.
  • Expert knowledge of current operational capabilities and up-to-date UK Pharmacy Regulations.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Able to travel to operational sites.
