We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SENDco Leader to join our team at Engage 2. As a SENDco Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our schools.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the school's SEN policy, ensuring that it is aligned with the needs of our pupils.
- Work closely with the leadership teams across two primary schools to ensure that the needs of pupils with SEN are met.
- Conduct assessments of pupils with SEN to identify their needs and monitor their progress.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individual support plans for pupils with SEN.
- Provide advice, guidance, and training to classroom teachers and teaching assistants on supporting pupils with SEN.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience of working with pupils with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
