SENDco Leader Opportunity at Engage 2

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SENDco Leader to join our team at Engage 2. As a SENDco Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the school's SEN policy, ensuring that it is aligned with the needs of our pupils.
  • Work closely with the leadership teams across two primary schools to ensure that the needs of pupils with SEN are met.
  • Conduct assessments of pupils with SEN to identify their needs and monitor their progress.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individual support plans for pupils with SEN.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and training to classroom teachers and teaching assistants on supporting pupils with SEN.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
