Job Summary

Crossroads Care NI is a leading provider of respite care services in Northern Ireland, dedicated to supporting carers and individuals with care needs. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Agency Care Worker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, as well as in other settings. This will include:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals
  • Assisting with domestic tasks, such as cooking and cleaning
  • Supporting individuals with mobility and transfer needs
  • Administering medication as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be flexible and adaptable in their approach.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 3 months previous experience working within a healthcare setting
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and dependable
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Integrity and good character
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • The right to live and work in the UK
