We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Playworker to join our team at Junior Adventures Group. As a Playworker, you will be responsible for planning and executing structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play, and more. You will work closely with our team to create an inclusive and fun atmosphere for the children in our care, from picking them up from school to safely delivering them back to their parents or caregivers.

As a Playworker, you will also be responsible for:

  • Providing refreshments for the children while maintaining our high standards of hygiene and health and safety.
  • Setting up and packing away play spaces, moving furniture and play equipment as needed.
  • Following all Health and Safety protocols and policies and keeping all relevant documentation, including accident and incident forms, up to date and completed as needed.
  • Ensuring proper sign-in and sign-out processes and procedures are followed for all children in our care.
  • Communicating professionally and authentically with team members, parents, children, and schools.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, has a creative approach to planning activities, and is able to work well as part of a team. If you have a fun and active approach to playwork and are able to inspire our team members and the children in our care to have fun, be active, and lead an active lifestyle, we want to hear from you

Please note that this role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA). You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation.
