Position Overview: A prestigious legal firm is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join their Private Client division. This role is essential for providing exceptional legal support to clients with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing client files and ensure effective progression of matters under the guidance of the Team Leader.
  • Draft essential legal documents including Wills and Powers of Attorney, and facilitate the administration of Estates and Trusts.
  • Deliver a professional and courteous service to clients, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards in document preparation, adhering to the firm's established protocols and guidelines.
  • Comply with the Solicitors Code of Conduct and the Solicitors Accounts Rules in all aspects of work.
  • Address and report any client complaints to the Head of Department promptly.
  • Achieve financial targets set at the beginning of the fiscal year.
  • Conduct thorough client file management, including opening and closing files in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Handle incoming client inquiries, whether via phone or in-person, and provide appropriate responses or messages.
  • Coordinate appointments and manage the diaries of legal professionals.
  • Organize meetings and ensure necessary arrangements are in place, including refreshments when required.
  • Oversee outgoing correspondence and maintain up-to-date records for both internal and client files.
  • Perform typing and administrative tasks to support fee earners effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Department to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.
  • Maintain a well-organized office environment, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Work collaboratively within the team, providing assistance with secretarial duties as needed.
  • Handle initial client queries and guide them to the appropriate legal representatives as necessary.
