About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team in Community Paediatrics. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and therapy services to children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) in a variety of settings, including mainstream schools and special schools.

You will work closely with children, parents, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that promote effective communication and language development. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping children overcome speech and language difficulties and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and therapy services to children with SLCN in a variety of settings
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to promote effective communication and language development
  • Work closely with children, parents, carers, and other professionals to achieve therapy goals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to speech and language therapy
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and research
Requirements
  • Recognized speech and language therapy degree qualification or equivalent
  • Successful completion of RCSLT newly qualified competencies
  • Health Professions Council License to practice
  • Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
