Company Overview: A leading Main Contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-profile projects across the UK are seeking to recruit a Site Manager for a new construction project.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all site management functions for external façade activities and roofing packages, in respect of Health and Safety, Quality and Programme.
  • Work closely with the commercial team on site, discussing procurement and variations, and ensuring a collaborative team working dynamic.
  • Lead a team of up to 10 staff, including technical knowledge of short-term programming and construction methodology.
  • Previous experience in managing Roofing or Facade packages will be advantageous.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Site Manager position with a Main Contractor.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations, including H&S laws and their application.
  • Experienced in delivering Construction packages, including Facade and Roofing.
  • Good people management skills and experience in leading teams.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
  • Black CSCS Card and SMSTS.
