We are excited to be working with a successful and established distribution company, who are recruiting for a Saw Operative on a permanent basis, to work on a rotational shift pattern.

The Saw Operative will require experience operating saw machines (Metal Saw or Tyro), AND a counterbalance/ reach forklift licence.

This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

The Saw Operative will be reporting to the Production Supervisor, and your main responsibilities will be to operate the saw machines, move the stock throughout the warehouse, and operate forklifts.

It's imperative that you're able to follow health and safety guidelines and work well within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate saw machines to cut metal stock
  • Move stock throughout the warehouse
  • Operate forklifts to transport stock
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Work effectively within a team

Requirements:

  • Experience operating saw machines
  • Counterbalance/ reach forklift licence
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Good teamwork skills
