Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out mechanical fitting and assembly work, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Work from engineering drawings to complete assemblies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assemble heat exchanger units from pre-manufactured parts, following established protocols.
  • Participate in quality control processes to maintain the highest standard of manufacturing.
  • Operate fixed and handheld machinery, ensuring safe and efficient use.
  • Comply with company health and safety procedures, reporting any incidents or concerns.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects, offering valuable insights and ideas to enhance production processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards.
  • Work to a high standard of manufacturing, meeting or exceeding production targets.
  • Carry out production duties as directed by Production Supervision, ensuring seamless workflow.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in production in a manufacturing industry, with a mechanical qualification.
  • Compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and procedures, with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
