We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Randstad CPE. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair, and installation work on mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC and electrical systems
- Perform reactive and installation work on mechanical and electrical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC and electrical systems
- Repair or replace defective equipment or components
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or Electrical Engineer
- Electrical qualifications and F-Gas certification
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems and refrigeration principles
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Full clean driving license and a good driving record
- 2 days per week in Manchester covering commercial offices
- 3 days per week in Nottingham covering a large manufacturing site
- Competitive salary up to £40,000
