About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Track to join our Major Projects team, working on the Southern Integrated Delivery project.

As a Project Engineer - Track, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the technical aspects of track construction are controlled on site, adhering to relevant engineering designs, standards, and tolerances.
  • Collecting and compiling construction records to provide quality assurance to clients.
  • Producing and reviewing site engineering and safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and task briefs.
  • Assisting the senior engineer and project manager in developing the engineering resource plan and reviewing method statements and risk assessments.
  • Supporting the project bid/tendering process as required.
  • Providing site support to the project team throughout the works.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience working within Track Engineering.
  • Proficient in using 3D surveying instruments in a construction environment.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of an HNC/HND.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to operate effectively in the site environment.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in team working and collaboration.
  • Full UK driving license.
