About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a Senior Ecologist, you will be responsible for providing expert ecological advice and guidance to clients across a range of sectors, including residential, defence, energy, government services, and transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality ecological advice and guidance to clients, including bat roost assessments, emergence surveys, and protected species surveys.
  • Work closely with colleagues from across the business to deliver multi-disciplinary projects and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including residential, defence, energy, government services, and transport.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and bids, including writing technical reports and providing expert advice.
  • Participate in the development of the company's ecological services, including the creation of new methodologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Strong field skills and experience in ecological consultancy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional travel and weekend work.
  • Chartered Environmentalist or Ecologist status (or working towards it).
