Part-time Accounts Officer

Join Reed, a leading recruitment agency, as a Part-time Accounts Officer and take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and chase unpaid invoices, ensuring timely responses to client queries and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Update and maintain the company's bookkeeping software, working closely with the appointed bookkeeper to import invoices and reconcile payments.
  • Verify that invoices raised in the practice management software match those in the bookkeeping software, as part of the credit control process.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of payments received and manage the company's financial and company records in collaboration with the Senior Finance Officer and Operations Director.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Excel skills and good general office suite experience.
  • Ability to provide high-level assistance to the Senior Finance Officer and Operations Director.
  • Liaise with the company's bookkeeper and accountant as needed.
