Scope of Job: Beauty Popups
Purpose:
To drive newness and creativity across beauty and fragrance campaign launches. To adapt creative direction into various scales of implementation and work closely with internal and external teams to deliver a successful creative and commercial balance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead designs for temporary immersive retail environments from concept creation to concept drawing package, specializing in beauty and fragrance sectors.
- Propose exciting additional customer journey elements as part of the 'retailtainment' strategy.
- Research and develop innovative materials and processes for temporary activations, aligning with sustainability targets.
- Develop creative direction into multiple scales of implementation, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Develop guideline packages for partners to implement design direction into various sites globally.
- Maintain close working relationships with Senior Designer, internal creative and commercial teams, and external partners to ensure collaborative delivery.
- Develop designs and construction details under tight timelines, ensuring timely delivery.
- Oversee visual merchandising strategy and coordinate pop-up activations and events.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design strategies.
Measures of Success:
- Creation of beautiful pop-ups that align with campaign creative and commercial needs.
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams.
- Smooth collaboration with internal and external teams, with design packages delivered on time and to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in concept and pop design, as well as beauty and fragrance.
- Confident creative point of view.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of current market trends and competitor approaches.
- Well-organized, flexible, and adaptable.
- Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, or Vectorworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
