Job Summary:

The Assistant Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and maintenance team. As a key member of our property operations team, you will be responsible for:

  • Allocating responsibilities to the team and completing the daily job list
  • Managing preventative maintenance schedules with attention to detail
  • Liaising with contractors and taking responsibility for health and safety
  • Leading and coordinating the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services
  • Addressing guest concerns promptly and efficiently
  • Liaising closely with other hotel departments and the wider management team to support the continual improvement of property maintenance standards
  • Maintaining and ordering parts and supplies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Acting as property leader for the brand's 'Green Engage' program
  • Coaching, training, and supporting the team to provide consistently high standards

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional with a strong background in hotel facilities management. Key requirements include:

  • Experience in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel
  • Knowledge of electrics and health and safety
