Hospitality Manager Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Hospitality Manager to join our team at a leading care home in Thetford, Norfolk. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a service experience that aligns with our company values of compassion, empathy, and transparency.
  • Lead a positive working environment, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and high-quality service.
  • Ensure residents receive an exceptional experience, with their needs and expectations met and exceeded.
  • Manage the food service operation, working closely with the executive chef to plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality meals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust activities program tailored to residents' interests and needs, promoting health and wellness.
  • Maintain a best-in-class first impression experience.
  • Ensure effective housekeeping, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of first impressions and the ability to deliver a positive experience.
  • Knowledge of food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the needs and interests of older people and the ability to develop engaging activities.
  • Strong understanding of housekeeping principles, including cleaning, hygiene, and infection control.
  • Strong budget management skills, with the ability to manage costs effectively.
