Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a curtainsider truck to transport containers between depots and customer locations
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of containers, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other drivers to optimize routes and reduce transit times
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle and trailer condition
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV license with curtainsider endorsement
  • Excellent knowledge of container transport operations and logistics
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
