Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues throughout the facility
  • Overseeing the installation and commissioning of new and refurbished machinery
  • Daily tasks will encompass:
    • Reporting breakdowns versus planned maintenance activities
    • Prioritizing repair tasks effectively
    • Monitoring and planning machine performance
    • Collaborating with the Planning Department to ensure optimal machine availability
    • Tracking failure incidents
    • Providing support to external contractors
    • Offering technical assistance to production teams as needed
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Possession of a relevant engineering qualification
  • Demonstrated competency in isolation procedures, electrical safety, and safe panel access
  • Experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) operations
  • Proficient in using computer-based maintenance management systems
  • Adaptability and flexibility in work approach
  • Strong commitment to health and safety standards
  • Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery, including executing machine size change procedures
Additional Information:

Shifts will be scheduled during the night, from Sunday to Thursday.

Compensation is set at £48,960 annually.
