The Workshop is seeking a skilled Metrologist to join our dynamic team, dedicated to producing high-quality manufacturing solutions. This role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative work environment focused on innovation and excellence.
Objective:
To perform measurement validation and statistical data analysis on supplier products, ensuring compliance with design specifications and testing protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enhance and refine the Goods Inwards Inspection process.
2. Collaborate with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to address quality standards.
3. Generate Supplier Investigation Reports (SIRs) for any non-conforming components identified during inspections or quality assessments.
4. Assist in conducting supplier audits in line with the established audit framework.
5. Oversee the programming of the OGP CMM machine and other relevant measurement tools, ensuring the latest software updates are applied.
6. Ensure all measurement instruments are calibrated and clearly labeled with an approved calibration mark within the designated timeframe.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in operating and programming CMMs.
- Background in Quality Engineering.
- Proficient understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process capability.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications effectively.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
