About the Role

Purple Oak Support is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Supervisor to join our Care and Support team. As a Support Supervisor, you will play a vital role in providing excellent, person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality care and support services
  • Conduct regular supervisions with team members to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent care
  • Assess training needs and ensure team members receive necessary training and development opportunities
  • Support the recruitment process and ensure new starters are properly inducted and supported
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience in a care environment, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary between £25,791.48 - £26,161.20 per annum
