Job Summary

We are seeking three Volunteer Counsellors to join our team across three service hubs in Chester, Ellesmere Port, and Northwich. As a Volunteer Counsellor, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and developing your therapeutic experience in the drug and alcohol field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide non-judgmental and supportive counselling services to clients facing problems with drugs and alcohol.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Accrue counselling hours towards your future accreditation with BPS, BACP, or UKCP.
  • Commit to a minimum of one year, depending on the service and number of counselling sessions.

Requirements

  • A positive attitude and the desire to learn.
  • A non-judgmental and supportive approach towards people who are facing problems with drugs and alcohol.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
