Position Overview

Class 1 Personnel is a staffing agency specializing in the hospitality sector, providing both part-time and full-time employment opportunities. We are currently seeking dedicated Culinary Support Assistants to join our team on a temporary basis.

Job Responsibilities

As a Culinary Support Assistant, your primary duties will include:

  • Sanitation Duties: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, including countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, and sinks.
  • End-of-Day Cleaning: Ensuring the kitchen is spotless and ready for the next day’s operations.
  • Food Storage Maintenance: Organizing and maintaining food storage areas, such as freezers and refrigerators.
  • Delivery Management: Receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries efficiently.
  • Dishwashing: Washing and sanitizing dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans, or operating the dishwasher.
  • Waste Management: Properly disposing of kitchen waste and maintaining cleanliness in waste containers.
  • Equipment Care: Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, including cookers and food mixers.
  • Assisting Chefs: Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping, peeling, and washing ingredients.
  • Team Collaboration: Assisting prep cooks and other kitchen staff as required.

Experience and Schedule
