Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality care to our residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
- Develop and implement care plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each resident, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure that our residents are receiving the best possible care, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as management and administration, to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice and care, and share knowledge and best practices with the team.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our care meets the highest standards.
- Registered on the NMC register, Part 1 or Part 2.
- Experience in nursing for older people, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of this population.
- Knowledge and experience with the Gold Standards Framework, with a focus on delivering high-quality care that prioritizes the needs and preferences of our residents.
- Excellent clinical assessment skills, with the ability to identify and address the needs of our residents in a timely and effective manner.
- Experience of managing a team, with a strong focus on leadership, communication, and collaboration.
- Knowledge of the CQC Fundamental Standards, with a focus on delivering care that is safe, effective, and responsive to the needs of our residents.
- Ability to motivate and empower others, with a strong focus on building a positive and supportive team culture.
