Job Summary
CrossReach is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Support Assistant - Part Time. As a key member of our Residential Abstinence Recovery Service, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in our building, working closely with your team to ensure a spotless and hygienic environment.
- Report to the senior person on duty for guidance and collaborate with the Unit Manager as needed.
- Encourage resident participation in maintaining their living spaces and provide cleaning supplies as required.
- Supervise and train others in cleanliness and hygiene practices.
- Basic computer literacy and a warm, friendly demeanor are essential for this role.
Requirements
- Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and completion of necessary vetting checks.
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Ability to work within CrossReach's Christian Ethos.
