Manufacturing Engineer Vacancy

Due to company growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our market-leading business. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain production processes and procedures across Fabrication and/or assembly operations.
  • Lead and implement process improvement activities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Gather relevant production data throughout the New Product Development process.
  • Support the introduction of new products at the concept phase and through production ramp up.
  • Maintain production process documentation.
  • Design and implement tools and equipment to improve the production process.
  • Design and implement production flow lines, factory floorplans, and modular workstations.
  • Contribute to the Design for Manufacture process.
  • Identify areas for producibility and quality improvements in assembly, test, and product design.
Requirements:
  • HNC or HND or Degree in mechanical engineering or similar with experience in a bespoke fabrication & assembly environment.
  • The ability to generate clear production assembly work instructions.
  • Experience of developing production flow lines.
  • General knowledge in areas of root cause corrective action, lean, and project planning.
  • Experience in Mechanical CAD programs such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo or similar packages.
