We are seeking a skilled and organized Housekeeper to join our support team at Newbury Manor School. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, ensuring that all areas meet operational standards and statutory regulations.

The successful candidate will have experience in record keeping, supervising staff, and identifying and reporting damage, faults, and other related issues to the maintenance department or manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the school
  • Supervise staff and ensure that minimum standards are delivered in all school areas
  • Identify and report damage, faults, and other related issues to the maintenance department or manager
  • Record keeping and maintenance checks

Requirements:

  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Aspris Children's Services:

We are a specialist school for young people aged 7 to 19 who have autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Our tailored approach means we are able to support young people with a wide range of needs, from those who are broadly average in their ability to others, who have more severe learning difficulties.

We provide a total environment where young people are offered safe, secure, and predictable surroundings in which they can come to understand their own areas of difficulties and learn skills and techniques in order to overcome them.

We take pride in the environment we can offer. The school is located in a beautiful, quiet, rural location in Somerset in a Georgian manor house, which has a range of outbuildings and extensive grounds.
