Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Fuel Point Assistant to take on a permanent role, averaging 37 hours per week with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern during night hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the fuel point and CET plant to ensure peak performance while servicing customer trains overnight.
- Perform refueling of traction units and fill water tanks as required.
- Conduct maintenance activities in accordance with Vehicle Maintenance Instructions.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and prior experience in rail vehicle maintenance. An NVQ Level 2 in Engineering is preferred.
