Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welder Fabricator to join our night-shift team at Optima UK Inc Ltd in Loughborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, performing MIG welding, and fabricating structural components. This is a permanent position with a competitive hourly rate and a range of benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Perform MIG welding and fabricate structural components
  • Utilize hand tools and machinery to cut, bend, and assemble metal components
  • Perform quality control checks
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications

  • Apprentice trained or proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and welding equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Valid certification in welding techniques is a plus
