Position Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the installation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across various residential developments. Projects will vary in scale, with budgets ranging from £50M to £120M, and the role offers opportunities for professional growth and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all service installations to ensure compliance with client specifications and established procedures.
- Manage relationships with Services Contractors and other Sub-Contractors/Supply Chain Partners effectively.
- Analyze project data to determine critical sequences and resource requirements for informed decision-making.
- Review specifications and design drawings, ensuring that service and design decisions align with project goals.
- Develop design proposals during the sketch, detailed design, and production phases as necessary.
- Coordinate and manage Design Team Drawings (e.g., AutoCAD) and related documentation.
- Facilitate communication between the Design Team and Services Subcontractors to ensure smooth project flow.
- Participate in Client meetings, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Organize and lead coordination meetings for Services Subcontractors to ensure alignment.
- Plan and manage site facilities and resources to meet project timelines effectively.
- Review and track Subcontractor submissions regarding plant proposals and procurement routes.
- Conduct inspections and assessments to verify the commissioning of MEP systems on-site.
- Ensure timely submission of the Safety File Data upon project completion.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A relevant Engineering degree or diploma in a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in Building Services Contractor or Consultant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, Sprinkler, and Process Systems/Construction is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of responsiveness.
- A proven track record in managing Residential Projects is necessary.
- Commitment to quality and safety standards in all operations.
- Membership in a professional body (e.g., CIBSE) is advantageous.
