Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating rigging equipment for various projects, inspecting equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition, and safely lifting, moving, and positioning heavy objects using rigging techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Rigging Operations: Set up and operate rigging equipment for various projects, including inspecting equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Heavy Object Handling: Safely lift, move, and position heavy objects using rigging techniques.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to plan and execute rigging operations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of rigging activities and equipment usage.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Rigger or similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using rigging equipment and tools, knowledge of different rigging techniques and their applications, familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: NVQ in moving loads / Steel Erection and CPCS A40 (preferable).

Working Conditions

  • Shifts: 10 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, day shifts, and night shifts.
  • Availability: Weekend availability and overtime.
  • Work Location: In-person work location.
