Electrical Engineer - Design Team

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering Design Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all electrical engineering activities, including design calculations, production of engineering specifications, and cable and protection device calculations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Negotiation with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  2. Engineering design calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  3. Production of engineering specifications to support project delivery.
  4. Cable and protection device calculations to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems.
  5. Process flow diagram development for nodal analysis.
  6. Technical bid analysis to ensure best value for clients.
  7. Packaged plant electrical requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  8. Earthing system design to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems.
  9. Electrical supply networks, architecture, and characteristics to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of a degree or master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Experience in an Electrical Engineering role, preferably in a design team.
  3. Excellent people skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  4. Honesty, integrity, and reliability to ensure project delivery.
  5. Solid written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  6. High diligence to ensure project delivery.
  7. Organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure project delivery.
  9. Research skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  10. Analytical skills to ensure project delivery.
  11. Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and more.
