Job Opportunity: Senior Python Software Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Software Engineer to join our team at Client Server. As a Senior Python Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our company's software applications, working closely with our Data Scientists, Analysts, and Portfolio Managers to ensure seamless data integration, high availability, and real-time processing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions.
- Develop and maintain complex trading strategies using Python, integrating data from various internal and external sources, including Market Data feeds, trading platforms, and third-party providers.
- Work closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
- Design and implement data pipelines, ensuring high availability and real-time processing capabilities.
- Deploy software solutions to AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Advanced backend programming skills with Python.
- Experience with Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with deploying to AWS.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working on financial systems or a strong understanding of financial trading systems.
- Degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
