Job Summary:
We are looking for a recent graduate with a passion for digital marketing and a self-driven attitude to join our team as a Digital Marketing Assistant. This individual will assist the Marketing Manager in executing and optimizing digital marketing strategies, including developing and implementing campaigns across various channels, crafting SEO-friendly content, and creating visually engaging content for digital marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, internet, and email.
- Support in crafting SEO-friendly content, including blog posts and social media updates, to improve our online visibility and engagement.
- Create visually engaging content for digital marketing campaigns using Canva, ensuring consistency with our brand identity.
- Help manage and update the company website through WordPress, ensuring accuracy and relevance of content.
- Conduct social listening to monitor and engage with online communities and brand mentions on social media platforms, providing insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Track and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, analyzing data to suggest improvements and optimize results.
- Assist in maintaining email marketing campaigns, building email lists, creating newsletters, and tracking engagement.
- Perform market research and competitor analysis to support the development of marketing strategies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints, promoting a cohesive brand image.
- Maintain marketing data and performance metrics in Excel for analysis and reporting, providing insights to inform marketing decisions.
Requirements:
- Recent university graduate with a degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Canva for content creation is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with WordPress (or willingness to learn) is essential for managing and updating the company website.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, and their role in digital marketing.
- Good knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices, including content creation, campaign optimization, and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently, taking initiative and seeking guidance when needed.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other digital marketing tools, providing insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact, for building and maintaining email lists and creating newsletters.
