Job Overview

Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Resourcing Group. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and steam systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or service background in industrial, manufacturing, production, or automated environments.
  • Completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications, such as mechanical or electrical.
  • Excellent maintenance and troubleshooting skills, with experience in working with complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, including electronics and fault finding to component level.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
