Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to join our team as a High School Chef at Kirklees Council. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for supporting our catering supervisor in the production of healthy and nutritious meals for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the catering supervisor in the preparation and serving of meals
  • Undertake the duties of the catering supervisor in their absence
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure high-quality food service
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas and recipes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
