The Opportunity
In this role, primarily based in our Ambulatory Care Unit, you will join a dynamic and highly motivated multidisciplinary team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and experience across various specialties and complexities. Under the guidance of our Clinical Head of Department, you will have the autonomy to apply your expertise and skills to ensure outstanding patient care.

As our Endoscopy and Minor Operations Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the management and organization of care delivery within the Endoscopy department.
- Leading the provision of patient care.
- Ensuring quality planned care for our patients throughout all stages of their journey.
The Person
To thrive as an Endoscopy and Minor Operations Lead, you will need:
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- The capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A minimum of two years' experience in an endoscopy environment.
- NMC or HCPC registration.
- Proficiency in equipment ordering.
- Management of WHO checklist compliance.
- Leadership experience with a team of registered practitioners.
- Experience in incident investigation within the department.
- IPC link responsibilities.
- Oversight of induction books and sign-off for new team members.
- Participation in the Nuffield future leaders program.
- Accountability for JAG accreditation for the facility.
