About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Sanctuary Care. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by providing exceptional food service and creating a warm and welcoming dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present meals to a high standard, adhering to relevant food hygiene legislation
  • Serve meals to residents in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent resident care
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Previous catering experience is desirable, but not essential
  • A food hygiene certificate is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and management
  • A flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
