Finance Administrator Job Description

At DB Schenker, we're part of a global logistics network that connects the world. We're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role is key to maintaining smooth financial processes for the IE/UK Cluster within the Air department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the processing of account cost transactions and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate handling of intercompany financial matters.
  • Monitor for any invoices that may be stuck in transfer and address any forced admin orders.
  • Download and process invoices from supplier portals, including FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
  • Run regular reports, handle large invoice discrepancies, and liaise with operators to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Support the team by covering for colleagues on leave and ensuring continuity of financial processes.
About You:
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Flexible attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, with ability to manage large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with various internal and external stakeholders.
