About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at a thriving mixed comprehensive school in Monmouthshire. As a key member of the Maths department, you will be responsible for teaching KS3 - KS4 students and nurturing a range of learning abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Maths to students in KS3 - KS4
  • Nurture and support students with varying learning abilities
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in departmental discussions
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences and pastoral responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons, marking and assessment
Requirements
  • Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
  • Qualified Teaching Status or PCET with Maths experience
  • Proven track record of helping students achieve academic success
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to work with students of varying abilities
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council and DBS check on the update service
