Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a truck to transport goods to designated locations.

Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations
* Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
* Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Communicate with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely delivery

Requirements:

* 2 years driving experience
* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
* Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience in flatbed or delivery driving
* Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
* Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers
* Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
* Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
