We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pool Worker to join our team at Hestia. As a Pool Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents in achieving their goals and rebuilding their lives.

• Model Pro-Social Behaviour: Demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviors, promoting a culture of respect within the service.
• Engage with Residents: Actively participate in activities, supervise meal times, and be present in communal areas to foster a sense of community.
• Contribute to Sentence Plans: Collaborate with colleagues, probation officers, and external agencies to deliver rehabilitative activities and support residents in achieving their goals.
• Provide Administrative Support: Assist colleagues with preparation, facilitation, and evaluation of activities, ensuring effective communication and record-keeping.
• Ensure Health and Safety: Monitor and maintain the health, safety, security, cleanliness, and hygiene of the Approved Premises, ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Monitor Resident Well-being: Utilize information sharing, CCTV, direct observation, and other methods to monitor resident well-being and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Maintain Confidentiality: Ensure that all related administration is done in good time, and that detailed, concise, and accurate records are created contemporaneously, with confidentiality properly maintained.
• Use Initiative: Identify and deal with additional tasks or issues as they arise, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
